ELLA
Therapy Dog
Ella is a therapy dog in training. Her job is to provide emotional support and a sweet face to smoosh when you feel you need to soothe. You will often see Ella in our virtual room (sleeping on the job!) She's looking forward to getting to meet you in person, in the near future.
When therapy sounds scary.
Many people feel like something has to be 'wrong' to attend a therapy session. Therapy is certainly an ideal space to work through challenges, life issues and mental health difficulties. It's also a great space for growth and self-development.
So what stops you?
Maybe you're worried that talking about things might make it worse? If it does, we'll work out some ways to ensure you leave the session feeling safe & contained.
Maybe you feel like all we'll talk about is your childhood? This can be helpful at times but not always essential. We can work together to determine what is important.
Maybe you fear you will be diagnosed straight away? Diagnosis can be a helpful way to ascertain what treatments may be appropriate & offers some people an "answer" as to why they're experiencing what they are. We believe that working with the person on a whole is important regardless of a diagnosis. Let's chat together about whether this would be something of value for you.

All sessions are conducted in person or via Zoom. Session fees are as follows:
